The 6th All Gujarat Automation Engineers Meet (AGAEM’25) organized by the ISA Student Chapter at Nirma University, served as the leading automation and emerging tech summit for Gujarat.

The 6th All Gujarat Automation Engineers Meet (AGAEM’25) organized bythe ISA Student Chapter, took place at Nirma University to become the premier automation and emerging technologies meeting in Gujarat. The summit gathered visionaries and industry experts alongside academic leaders and student innovators for a single event at the forefront of automation and emerging technologies in Gujarat.

The event established itself as an active meeting point for people to discover modern automation and AI, and technological integration advancements. The event, organized under the leadership of Dr. Himanshu K. Patel and Prof. Sneh Soni, transformed into a tribute to engineering superiority and forward-thinking education, and productive learning experiences.

The event received important presence from Dr. Himanshu Soni, who serves as Director of the School of Technology, together with Dr. R. N. Patel, who heads the School of Engineering at the institution, demonstrating its dedication to innovation and team-based research activities.

The main attraction at the event featured a keynote speech delivered by Jaimin Desai, who served as Deputy Director of SAC at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Mr. Desai applied his extensive experience from India's space industry to explain automation's essential role in contemporary engineering while encouraging students to develop meaningful innovations for national advancement.

The event received support from industry veterans Mr. Jagdish Shukla and Mr. P. N. Parikh, who represented the ISA Gujarat Section by contributing their expertise to the occasion.

The launch of ‘MagIC’ took place at AGAEM’25 as the ISA Student Chapter released their annual technical magazine. The publication features student-led research alongside industry analysis and automation-related insights, which represent the innovative spirit and ambitions of the Nirma engineering community.

Students participated in an exciting Ideathon, which required them to present innovative tech solutions based on an unexpected theme. Students presented both concept ideas and poster designs that generated immediate problem-solving and creative thinking throughout the event. The activity functioned as both a competition and an idea incubator, which might produce technological breakthroughs for future development.

The ISA Student Chapter at Nirma University established a legacy of excellence by becoming the only Indian institution to launch and maintain this groundbreaking event.

The chapter achieved the Best Student Chapter Award twice from the ISA Asia-Pacific District G to demonstrate its leadership abilities and innovative spirit, and enduring influence on the engineering field.
